Acupuncture | Acupuncture reduces sympathetic activity, normalises desturbed sleep and reduces muscle tension. Also it improves mood and reduces typical menopausal complaints. |
Neuraltherapy | Neuraltherapy which means injection of neuraltherapeutics into
special regions of the body, is well-known to ameliorate sleep disorders,
irritability, depression and headache. Also problems with bones, muscles
and connective tissue can be treated.
For special purposes of reflex therapy such as treatment of myogeloses cupping and leeches are used. This application also can influence the function of the organ which is connected with the respective skin area via the reflex path. |
Physical
Therapy:
- Kinesiotherapy |
Kinesiotherapy is used for prevention of osteoporosis, stabilizes vegetative function and normalizes metabolism. Walking, swimming, hiking, dancing, rhythmic gymnastics and spine gymnastics are favourable forms of sport. This therapy is also recommended in cardiovascular diseases. |
- Hydrotherapy | Hydrotherapy uses various applications of water such as warm cataplasms, hot affusions of the back, sauna, alternating partial affusions and washings, cold washings, cold foot and arm baths and packs with herbs. They are very useful to regulate vegetative functions and help in cardiovascular problems. |
- Masso-Therapy | In masso-therapy brush bath, classical massage and fibrous massage have physically and psychically balancing effects. Rest in the open air cures and solar cures are recommended. |
- Medical Baths | When menopausal problems begin, a peat bath can help to normalize hormonal system. After menstruation has stopped, peat hip baths can help in postmenopausal problems. Hot peat packs and movement bath reduce pain due to osteoporosis and early arthroses in the joints of the fingers and other localisations. |
