The Second World Conference on Urine Therapy: This international conference
is meant to create a deeper understanding of the dynamics of urine
therapy,
to promote the use of urine therapy amongst doctors and health
practitioners as well as the general public, and to exchange knowledge
and
experiences between urine therapy professionals. The conference will
be
organised on the basis of a wholistic paradigm, within which both the
mechanistic as well as the energetic points of view, hypotheses and
explanations will be discussed and respected.
The conference organisation:
The practical organisational aspects of the conference will be handled
and
are in the responsibility of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für
Harntherapie(DGH) (German urine therapy organisation)
Professional Program:
The first 3 days (September 3, 4 & 5) days are mainly for professionals,
although also open to anyone from the general public who wants to learn
more about urine therapy on a professional level. We expect 300-400
people
working with or interested in UT from all over the world: natural doctors,
therapists, healers, medical doctors and scientists. Key lecturers
will be
invited by the Conference Organisation, but we do invite everyone to
contribute their expertise in the form of small workshops. Morning
Program:
The morning program will consist of lectures by a selection of the
leading
figures in the field of urine therapy. English will be the main language;
translation will be provided and a conference book with the full text
of
the lectures in probably both German and English is planned to be handed
out at the beginning of the conference to all participants, in order
to
facilitate a better understanding of everything that will be presented.
Although at the end of each lecture there will be a possibility to
ask a
few short questions, people who wish for further discussion can visit
the
separate workshops of the key lecturers during the afternoon programm.
Afternoon Program:
The afternoon program will consist of a wide variety of parallel workshops
offered by participants of the the conference. Participants will have
to
make their own choices as to which workshops to attend. There will
be
workshops in different languages with different translations; detailed
information will be available in the conference book (see above). Also
he
summaries of the workshops will be available in probably both German
and
English langauge in the conference book. In one hall there will be
a
limited "open space" possibility to offer spontaneous workshops on
the
spot, which workshops can still be announced during the conference.
However, in general we do urge participants to announce their workshops
with us and to send in the summaries as soon as possible. Evening Program:
The evening program will give some extra attention to the international
character of the conference, most probably in the form of panels from
the
different continents. The evening of the 5. September all participants
will
be invited to partake in an entertaining cultural program.
Public Program:
The 4th day is meant for the general public and will be in the form
of a
marketplace. Thus the representatives of each country and of different
institutes can offer both their knowledge and experience as well as
their
cultural contribution to this international event. We expect 500-1000
visitors from all over Germany during this day. We would like to invite
all
participants of the conference to make a creative cultural contribution
to
this urine-therapy-marketplace-day, either per country or by
network/organisation or by continent. This can be in the form of: *
a
market stand with information about your work with urine therapy, your
organisation/network, and your country/continent * a lecture or
presentation in one of the halls * a visual exposition or presentation
in
one of the halls * a stand or space where you give short individual
advice/sessions to people from the public Our aim is to provide German
translation for all lectures and presentations during this day.
Please register early: registrations will be handled in chronological
order
based on date of payment.
The registration fees:
We offer special reduction for people coming from economically less
strong

Guidelines and deadlines:
Key lecturers will be invited by the Conference Organisation Committee
and
will be asked to send in the full text of their lectures ánd
the summaries
of their workshops in English language as soon as possible and before
July
1. Everyone is invited to offer a workshop. If you want to offer a
workshop
of any kind in the field of urine therapy, please fill out and send
in the
extra information sheet that will be sent to you upon request, as soon
as
possible and before July 1. Because we plan a complete conference book
- in
both German and English language - to be handed out to all participants
at
the beginning of the conference, we have to be very strict about the
deadlines.
Publicity and networking:
You are kindly invited to spread this information amongst any persons
or
institutions that might be interested in this conference. We are largely
dependent upon networking and any help with this is greatly appreciated.
The same counts for any suggestions concerning possible sponsors or
media
coverage of the conference.
Sponsoring & hosting:
Sponsoring and bursary fund:
Sponsoring is especially important as we would like to provide
possibilities for as much people as possible from economically less
strong
countries to participate in the conference. For that we need extra
money
and resources to set up a bursary fund. Please feel free to donate
something for this aim and send your donation to:
Hosting:
To keep the cost for people from economically less strong countries
as low
as possible, also before and after the conference we would like to
create a
kind of hosting system for those interested. This hosting involves
taking
care of someone from abroad for example in the form of housing them
for
some days, taking them on a small tour, staying in regular touch with
them
during the conference, etc. This system would also create and promote
a
more international exchange on both a professional as well as a personal
level. Contact the International Conference Organisation Office if
you are
willing to participate in a possible hosting programm.
Volunteering:
We need volunteering people to help us before and during the conference.
If
you are interested in doing so, please contact the Conference Organisation
Offices on possibilities and vacancies.
